Don’t wait for the “day of thanksgiving,” tell of His wonderful deeds everyday!
Rejoice in God and sing the praises of His name right now!
A challenge I’ve noticed these days is to hear a sincere thank you.
This isn’t so much in younger generations. Thank you has been substituted with a nod, a partial smile, or no acknowledgment at all from every generation. Why?
We don’t slow down enough to acknowledge when someone has gone out of their way to be kind. We’ve become expectant and therefore numb to common courtesy.
Another reason for glib or shallow thank you’s is that society at large has removed the thankful source from it’s vocabulary —GOD.
If GOD, our Heavenly Father, is not accepted in schools, community gatherings, or sports events, this once revered household Presence simply fades into the commonality of life.
I for one refuse to sweep GOD under a rug. I will choose to raise my glass of respect and acknowledgement to the One True GOD and give thanks!
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.” Psalm 9:1-2
Let’s not wait until a designated day of thanksgiving to lift our voices in praise. Let’s not give in to the world’s economy of political correctness. We do not serve a GOD of politics, we serve The Creator!
Thank You, O GOD, for my warm fuzzy socks, for my family, and for my health.
Join with me in raising our voice to the LORD…praise Him right now.
Thank you for stopping by today. I know you have so many things you could be doing and I greatly appreciate you spending time with me. Hugs!
Scroll down and leave a word of thanksgiving to GOD. Praise Him for all He has done in your life.
