Parenting: Passing on Our Faith Stories
Consider the children you know… Is innocence lacking in their lives?
Do you discuss the Word of God with them?
They don’t have to be your biological kids for you to share what God has done in your life… your faith stories.
I’m honored to work with parents on a weekly basis, sometimes daily; and in the course of our conversations many times we discuss the “purity” or innocence lacking in our children today.
The enemy is bound and determined to rob the experience of God’s joy from our children.
Worldly influence points our kids in every direction leading away from the Truth of God.
As parents, we cry about it.
As a community, we complain about it.
Yet… as a society, we ignore the subtle drifting of our children, as they slide under the water. The simmering pot of irreverence has begun to boil and we are now seeing the impact.
No matter who you are; who you are matters!
You can choose this day to tell a child your story.
Jesus shared stories to draw people to Truth. Are we no different?
Our faith stories, yours and mine have changed the course of our lives and they can help to change the course of others.
How can you help a young person stay on the path of purity and innocence? By living according to the Word and sharing with them what it’s done in your life.
Blessings to you my friend… See you at the front door, where families always welcome!
